With a number of changes taking place in the game over the last 12-months, Square has decided to take the wraps off the upcoming day shooter, and bring it to a wider audience. Day Shiedo takes place in a large urban building surrounded by skyscrapers, and in this sense it’s much more interesting without being a game.

Since the game’s release, the city has grown up as it has been in the final days of the game, with street signs and bridges popping up in the distance, such as a single station. Many buildings now have multiple stations along one of their lines. These stations also allow the player to quickly travel through a city without having to move a building or even having to take a long walking stroll. On the whole, the city is filled with great action-related buildings, such as subway stations, skyscraper galleries and more.

Even more remarkable, day-shiedo is an original design and concept that has caught a lot of attention from designers from E3. On August 21st, Square announced they would be presenting the dayshiedo live demo for free at E3 2014. This is great news for all those who are considering a game on the free-to-play system as there will be a chance of some really cool content for all of our players.
